Area Residents Charged With Drunk Driving In State Police Stops

Nearly two dozen drivers were allegedly impaired in the Hudson Valley over the weekend when they were busted for driving while intoxicated.

Westchester County

  • On Friday, June 5, State Police from Cortlandt­­ arrested Andrew C. Pesavento, 32, of Cortlandt, NY, for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on Oregon Road in the town of Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of drugs, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, June 7, State Police from East Fishkill arrested Mark A. Marques, 36, of Yonkers, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Kent, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Dutchess County

  • On Friday, June 5, State Police from East Fishkill arrested Drew P. Dutcher, 37, of East Fishkill, for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of East Fishkill, when he was involved in a one car motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, June 6, State Police from Wappinger arrested Vinessa Varghese, 21, of Wappinger, for Aggravated DWI. She was traveling on New Hackensack Road in the town of Wappinger, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, June 7, State Police from Stormville arrested James D. Brand, 24, of Wappinger, for DWI. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of East Fishkill, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Orange County

  • On Saturday, June 6, State Police from Hawthorne arrested Jamal R. Bell, 31, of Highland Mills, for DWAI Drugs with a prior conviction, a class E felony. He was traveling on the Sprain Brook Parkway in the town of Greenburgh, when he was stopped for traveling south in the northbound lanes. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol and or drugs, and was subsequently arrested.

Putnam County

  • On Saturday, June 6, State Police from Brewster arrested Kyle P. Brady, 32, of Southeast, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on Starr Ridge Road in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, June 7, State Police from East Fishkill arrested Sean W. Dolan, 50, of Carmel, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

  • On Sunday, June 7, State Police from Kinderhook arrested Denise Gogg, 58, of Saugerties, for DWI. She was interviewed on State Route 9 in the town of Schodack after driving away from her residence after being involved in a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

  • On Saturday, June 6, State Police from Somers arrested Jeffrey Forzani, 32, of Danbury, for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of North Salem, when he was involved in a one car motor vehicle crash.
